Box Elder Dish: 9.5" x 2.75"

This off center, petite dish was hand turned from a box elder slab containing an irregular burl knob from which the dish was turned.  The dish is set within a background of retained bark and underlying sap wood with slate grey streaks.  The underneath side has the the red and yellowish flames typical of box elder.
