MY COLLECTION
All of my pieces are handmade in my Wallingford, Pennsylvania workshop, just outside Philadelphia. No two are ever the same. Each one is carefully turned to reveal the unique character of the wood—its color, grain, and natural or man-made “defects,” including knots, cracks, wormholes, and slots. Because I create only 10–15 pieces each year, every work is crafted with great care and attention.
My collection includes hand-turned wooden bowls, plates, platters, and vases made from native American woods such as apple, box elder, cedar, cherry, oak, hickory, poplar, and walnut. Each piece is handcrafted from a solid blank or from alternating strips of different woods and grains, yielding intricate and fascinating shapes and patterns. The natural grain, along with knots, cracks, and inclusions, enhances the beauty and individuality of every work. It’s common for a design to evolve as I turn—it’s as though the wood itself guides me.
These handcrafted pieces are meant to be both used and displayed. My bowls are ideal for serving fruits and salads; my platters and dishes are perfect for chips, cheeses, and fruits; and my cups are excellent for holding pens, coins, or other small items. Each one is as functional as it is beautiful—a true work of art in wood. Each is a great example of where form meets function.

Many of my customers develop a special connection with my work. They feel a bond with their pieces and take pride in displaying and using them. Every item I create is a functional, food-safe work of art—unique, handcrafted through inspiration and guided by the wood itself.
You can purchase my work here on this site or through eCommerce. I would also be delighted to meet you in person at one of my upcoming shows. Treat yourself—or someone special—to one of my creations. They make perfect gifts for weddings, anniversaries, engagements, or housewarmings, and are sure to be cherished for years to come.
