Bowls
Each of my bowls is handmade in my workshop in suburban Philadelphia. No two are ever the same. Every piece is turned to highlight the unique character of the wood—its color, grain, and natural or man-made “defects,” including knots, cracks, wormholes, and slots.
Some bowls are turned from a single solid piece of wood, while others are crafted from multiple layers of the same or complementary species, such as cherry and walnut. The only thing added is a food-safe finish that enhances and protects the natural beauty of the wood.
All of my designs are decorative and sophisticated—true works of art. Most are also functional art, perfect as centerpieces or for serving salads, fruits, and candies.
Each of these creations make perfect gifts for weddings and engagements. As a housewarming gift it will be cherished.
